Transfer Pricing Specialist

Accru Felsers is a globally focused, mid‑tier Chartered Accounting firm with a long history of accounting excellence. We provide accounting, taxation, audit and financial advisory services to an impressive client base of multi‑national and Australian businesses.

Established in 1941, Accru Felsers has great connections nationally and internationally, and is consistently recognised for excellent client service in the annual Client Choice Awards.

The opportunity

An exciting opportunity exists for a Transfer Pricing Specialist to join our Tax Advisory team. Working closely with Partners and Managers, you will be involved in a broad range of transfer pricing engagements for multinational clients across various industries.

You will be part of a collaborative, technically strong team and will have the opportunity to further develop your expertise across compliance, advisory, and dispute support work in a supportive mid‑tier environment.

The role

You will play a key role in delivering transfer pricing services to our predominantly mid‑market clients, many of whom are growing, expanding internationally, and require bespoke transfer pricing analysis and solutions. As the firm’s dedicated Transfer Pricing Specialist, you will take ownership of the end‑to‑end delivery of all transfer pricing matters, working autonomously while collaborating closely with Partners and the broader tax team across a broad range of advisory and compliance work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and manage end‑to‑end transfer pricing engagements, from scoping and fact‑finding through to analysis, documentation, and delivery.
  • Prepare and review transfer pricing analyses for a range of cross‑border transactions, including goods, services, royalties, financing, and IP‑related arrangements.
  • Lead functional, asset and risk (FAR) analyses, including client interviews and review of commercial arrangements and contracts.
  • Design, implement, and review intercompany pricing policies aligned with commercial outcomes and arm’s length principles.
  • Perform economic, financial, and benchmarking analyses.
  • Prepare and review Australian transfer pricing documentation and reporting, including Local File, Master File, and Country‑by‑Country reporting.
  • Advise clients on transfer pricing risk management, governance, and ATO guidance (including PCGs).
  • Support clients during ATO reviews, audits, and information requests.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the primary transfer pricing contact.
  • Contribute to the development of the firm’s transfer pricing capability and mentor junior staff as required.

Your experience and attributes

To be successful in this role, you will have experience in transfer pricing, ideally within a professional services or corporate tax environment. You will enjoy working on complex matters and building trusted relationships with clients.

You will demonstrate:

  • Degree qualified in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Law, or a related discipline, with 2–5 years’ transfer pricing experience.
  • Strong understanding of the OECD Transfer Pricing Guidelines and Australian TP requirements.
  • Experience preparing TP documentation, economic analyses, and compliance disclosures (including IDS and CbC reporting).
  • Strong analytical, research, and writing skills, with commercial awareness and attention to detail.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and Word skills.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders.
  • Well organised, proactive, and keen to continue developing as a TP specialist.

CA / CPA qualifications or postgraduate studies in tax or economics will be highly regarded.
