The opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated Senior Accountant to join our dynamic Business Services and Management Accounting team. This role offers the unique chance to work with a diverse array of clients across various industries, ensuring professional, timely, and accurate financial reporting and tax compliance.
In this pivotal role, you will be vital in delivering top-notch business and tax advisory services while gaining valuable exposure to management accounting practices. You will collaborate closely with Partners and Managers on strategic client engagements, providing expert advice and insights.
Beyond your technical responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to mentor and guide junior accountants, reviewing their work and supporting their professional growth. This role also presents a unique opportunity to specialise in international tax, making it perfect for those passionate about expanding their expertise in this area.

Your experience and attributes
To be considered for this role, you must hold a degree in Accounting and have a minimum of 3-4 years of experience, ideally within a chartered accounting firm in a Business Services environment. Completion of your CA program (or equivalent) is essential, along with a genuine interest in the advisory aspects of your work.
The ideal candidate will possess strong technical and analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines consistently. Excellent communication skills are essential, as is the ability to build strong relationships with both clients and colleagues.
We are looking for a proactive professional with a collaborative mindset who thrives in a small, close-knit team environment. Proficiency in MS Office, along with experience using APS and Xero, will be highly favourable.
