The opportunity

An opportunity now exists for a PA/Team Assistant to provide support to a busy partner within our Business Services & Management Accounting team. Located within a small, close-knit team you will provide an integral role in supporting the partner in a PA capacity, whilst also acting in the capacity of a Team Coordinator in providing administrative support to this small, very busy team.

You will also perform the role of Regional Coordinator for our global alliance partner which will involve organising meetings & webinars, preparing agendas, promoting webinars and liaising with a range of suppliers.

The role

The responsibilities of this role include:

  • Extensive diary management
  • Organising meetings and travel
  • Preparing, compiling and processing correspondence
  • Fielding client telephone calls and emails
  • Building and developing relationships with both clients and staff

This role also involves corporate secretarial work and experience in this area or within the legal environment, would be an advantage. This involves:

  • Administration of ASIC compliance
  • Annual statements
  • Administration and set up of new companies
  • Registration of ABN/TFN/GST
  • ATO Client updates

Your experience and attributes

To be successful in this role, you must have previous administrative experience preferably within a similar role within a professional services firm or accounting environment.  You will take pride in being a professional with strong administrative, client service and computer skills. Furthermore, you have a can-do attitude and display a proactive nature, you will work well under pressure whilst still paying attention to detail and keeping calm and retaining a sense of humour. You will have excellent English verbal and written communication skills. Outstanding organisational capability, time management and problem-solving skills will be required.

The ideal candidate will be a team player, who is happy to be part of the broader business and assist with relief reception coverage, answering telephones, etc.  You will be adaptable and can work with differing personalities and working styles, whilst providing first class customer service to clients and staff alike.

Experience with MS Office applications essential, and a working knowledge of APS, MYOB and/or Xero will be considered favorably.
